Belarusian film industry marks 90th anniversary
President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent his best greetings to Belarusian film makers as the Belarusian film industry marks the 90th anniversary.
“The film chronicle of the country’s life is our cultural legacy which has to be preserved and enriched. Therefore, the state does and will do its best to develop the Belarusian film industry relying on the creative combination of national traditions and world best practices, and the use of state-of-the-art film making technologies,” the message of greetings reads.
Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed hope that Belarusian film makers will produce more exciting movies about the past and present of Belarus, about the fates and spiritual quest of their contemporaries.
