Greetings to the participants of the 8th forum of creative and scientific intellectuals of the Commonwealth of Independent States

Dear friends,

I send my best greetings to the participants of the 8th forum of creative and scientific intellectuals of the CIS which is held in Belarus.

Over its history the forum has become an important factor of development of interstate relations in the humanitarian field. The meetings of scientists, cultural figures and workers of education of the CIS member states help strengthen fraternal unity of our nations.

In the Year of Ecological Culture and Environmental Protection announced in the Commonwealth of Independent States the forum will focus on such issues as ecological security, preservation of the natural wealth and cultural heritage. I am convinced that the forum will encourage its participants to share their experience and expand mutually beneficial cooperation in these significant areas of social development.

Let the forum be productive. I wish unflagging energy, every success, happiness and wellbeing to its participants.
