Belarus, Kazakhstan mark 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations

    President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent his best greetings to President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Belarus and Kazakhstan.

    "Over past two decades the two countries went a long way of formation and development of statehood, strengthening of sovereignty and independence, ensuring of high living standards of citizens. Today Belarus and Kazakhstan are strategic partners and allies. Vigorous bilateral cooperation has a systemic nature. The two states succeed in enhancing cooperation in all avenues," the felicitation message runs.

    "Throughout history our peoples strived for friendship and unity. This allowed us launch advanced integration processes within the framework of the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space," the head of state noted.

    "I am confident that by preserving interest in promoting mutual respect, friendship and strategic partnership we will succeed in ensuring rapid and sustainable development of the two states," Aleksandr Lukashenko emphasized.
