Aleksandr Lukashenko visits Minsk aeroclub of DOSAAF

President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko visited the Minsk aeroclub of DOSAAF on 21 June.

The head of state listened to the report from the leadership of the DOSAAF association. He deemed it necessary to expand the resource base in order to train more pilots and drivers, including for the Defense Ministry.

The head of state emphasized that DOSAAF should become “a strong social alternative” to the Defense Ministry which will help reveal drawbacks in the operation of the ministry.

Aleksandr Lukashenko instructed heads of Minsk and Minsk Oblast to submit “comprehensive projects” to modernize the territory of the Lipky airfield.

The President attended the aviation sport festival dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the DOSAAF Minsk aeroclub and the 70th anniversary of Belarus’ liberation from the Nazi invasion.

The head of state visited the AviationEquipmentMuseum, technical sports grounds which are used at the Minsk aeroclub of DOSAAF.

The head of state also talked to pilots and veterans of the DOSAAF club.
