Aleksandr Lukashenko speaks by telephone with Venezuela President
President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated his Venezuelan counterpart on a convincing victory at the presidential election during a telephone conversation late at night on 8 October.
“I dedicate this victory to you and our Belarusian people,” Hugo Chávez replied to the congratulation of his friend Aleksandr Lukashenko.
The Venezuelan President expressed great appreciation to the President of Belarus and all the Belarusian people for valuable contribution to the socioeconomic development of Venezuela, construction of big companies and infrastructure, and constant political support.
The heads of state agreed to meet in the near future to outline the further agenda of cooperation across various fields.
