Greetings to Belarusian pedagogues

Dear friends,

I cordially congratulate you on your professional holiday – the Teacher’s Day.

The pedagogue’s work is one of the most important and noblest activities on Earth. Its results have a strong impact on the march of history and on people’s fates. The teacher’s mission is not only to give knowledge but, first of all, to form personalities of students, bring up respected citizens of the Fatherland.

Impressive achievements of the Republic of Belarus on the way towards social and economic progress were made possible primarily thanks to the high quality of local education. This is why, paramount goals are to cherish and multiply Belarusian school traditions, create conditions for stable development, raise the prestige of teachers’ work.

I appreciate teachers as a stronghold of the state, our faithful supporters in tackling major issues of social live. I am convinced that you will stay as committed as you are now using your abilities, knowledge, and talent to bring up new generations of people in independent Belarus.
