Aleksandr Lukashenko sends Sts. Cyril and Methodius' feast day greetings to Patriarch Kirill
President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill on the occasion of Sts. Cyril and Methodius' feast day.
“Your activity is focused on serving Evangelic ideals. You are doing your best to popularize traditions of piety and morality, humanism and mercy,” the message of greetings reads.
“Your efforts to strengthen friendship and fraternal solidarity of Slavonic nations become even more important in the 1025th anniversary of the Baptism of Rus. I am convinced that your archpastor activities will give more good results,” the President stressed.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Patriarch Kirill health, peace, spiritual strength and God’s help in all undertakings.
