Aleksandr Lukashenko sends greetings to workers of State Hermitage Museum
President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the personnel of the State Hermitage Museum which celebrates the 250th anniversary.
“For two and a half centuries the State Hermitage Museum has been making an invaluable contribution to the preservation, exploration and promotion of the artistic legacy of various countries and eras. Today is one of the largest and the most famous museums in the world. Its exhibits arouse unflagging interest of numerous visitors, including from Belarus,” the message of greetings reads.
The President remarked that the State Hermitage Museum does a lot to strengthen and enrich cultural ties between Belarus and Russia. Thanks to these efforts, the most precious exhibits from the Hermitage collection are displayed in Belarus. Our people have an opportunity to see genuine masterpieces of world art.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished the fulfillment of all plans, new creative achievements, happiness and wellbeing to the workers of the State Hermitage Museum.
