Aleksandr Lukashenko sends greetings to People’s Painter of USSR Alexander Shilov
President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent his best greetings to People’s Painter of the USSR, member of the Russian Academy of Arts Alexander Shilov who opens an exhibition in the National Art Museum of the Republic of Belarus.
According to the head of state, the creative work of Alexander Shilov based on the best traditions of realism is rightly called one of the greatest elements of global art. “People in Belarus appreciate you as one of the best representatives of Russian painting and an old friend of our country. I am convinced that the exhibition which opens today will give thousands of fans a unique opportunity to see wonderful world created with the help of your talent, will become an important step on the way to strengthening friendship and cultural ties between the two nations,” the message of greetings reads.
