Aleksandr Lukashenko sends greetings to participants of Union State youth sport competition

Chairman of the Supreme State Council of the Union State, President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the participants of the Union State sport competition for children and the youth in Mogilev.

"Once again the Union State sport competition for children and the youth takes place in Belarus. This year the big festival of sport celebrates its 10th anniversary. It is good that the competition became a mass event and is popular with pupils and students on the territory from Brest to Vladivostok," the message of greetings reads.

The sport competition is a symbol of friendship and unity of young Belarusians and Russians. It is the display of courage and fair competition, according to Aleksandr Lukashenko.

The President of Belarus stressed that successful performance at such competitions opens real prospects in elite sport. Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence that many participants of the competition will soon become renowned athletes, owners of honored titles and Olympic medals.
