Aleksandr Lukashenko sends greetings to participants of Museums of Belarus forum
President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to
the participants and guests of the 2nd national forum Museums of Belarus.
“Preservation and promotion of national values is a noble mission of the country’s museums. All museums are committed to the cultural enrichment of the Belarusian society, nurturing of pride for our glorious historical past which is an indispensable part of the global heritage,” the message of greetings reads.
Allexander Lukashenko praised an invaluable role of museums in the education of a harmonious and intelligent personality, a true citizen of the republic. “Today it is important to be together. Therefore, a museum is an especially important social and cultural institute which is focused on the strengthening national unity,” the head of state noted.
The President expressed confidence that the forum which is held under the motto “Museums and society: from communications to cooperation” will help enhance professional ties, give an opportunity to find new dimensions of work to museum specialists and make a contribution to the enhancement of the country’s positive image.
