President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent
greetings to the participants of the 10th Belarusian International
Media Forum “Partnership for the Future: Legacy of the Great Victory”.
This forum is held in the year when we celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory, the head of state noted. “It is our common history which we must cherish and protect from the attempts to rewrite it. We managed to hold out in that horrible war because we were together. Today we must be united by a sincere commitment to peace and mutual understanding,” the message of greetings reads.
“Acknowledging their historical responsibility before the society, mass media should assume a constructive position in these processes,” the President stressed.
Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence that this year’s media forum will make a big contribution to the enhancement of trust and cooperation between countries and nations.
