Aleksandr Lukashenko sends greetings to participants of 7th Forum of European and Asian Media

    Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the participants of the 7th Forum of European and Asian Media.

    “It seems deeply symbolic that this event dedicated to the integration in the post-Soviet space is held in Belarus, the country which proved itself to be an active initiator of all-round cooperation between the nations,” the message of greetings says.

    According to the President, Belarus acts as a generator in advancing a large-scale integration strategy, starting from the CIS development and including the creation of the CSTO, EurAsEC, the Customs Union and the Single Economic Space.

    According to Aleksandr Lukashenko, efficiency of integration directly depends on the political will of the leadership of the states and the constructive stand of the people. The role of mass media that provide a true and objective coverage of all kinds of processes and mold the public opinion take the leading position here.

    The head of state emphasized that the forum makes a good platform for journalistic meetings, dialogues, an exchange of opinions and experience. “I am convinced that it will continue promoting new creative ideas and further development of cooperation between media outlets,” the President stressed.

    Aleksandr Lukashenko wished the forum participants fruitful work, strong health and every success.
