Aleksandr Lukashenko sends greetings to participants of 2013 European Boxing Championships

President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the participants of the European Boxing Championships.

Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed gratitude to the European Boxing Confederation and personally its chief Franco Falcinelli for the right to host the top-level competition in Minsk for the second time.

“Belarus plays host to many top-level spots competitions. The country has created all the necessary conditions to hold them. The names of renowned Belarusian boxers, winners and medalists of the Olympic Games, world and European championships are inscribed in the history of the international Olympic movement,” the message of greetings runs.

“I have no doubts that our foreign guests will have good memories about the Belarusian capital and its hospitable residents,” the President remarked.
