Aleksandr Lukashenko sends Easter greetings to Patriarch Kirill

President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Happy Easter to Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill.

“This holiday unites people and makes nations closer to each other by filling lives with the light of kindness, universal love and hope,” the message of greetings reads.

“We strongly appreciate your tireless activities aimed at the enhancement of Orthodox faith and promotion of the role of the Russian Orthodox Church in the society. May your prayers help us in our undertakings, contribute to the strengthening of spiritual unity of the fraternal Slavonic nations,” Aleksandr Lukashenko remarked.
