Aleksandr Lukashenko sends condolences to South African President after death of Nelson Mandela

On behalf of the Belarusian people and himself Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended condolences to President of the Republic of South Africa Jacob Zuma, relatives and friends of Nelson Mandela, and the people of South Africa.

“It is with great pain and sorrow that the Republic of Belarus learned the news of the death of former President of the Republic of South Africa, the legendary fighter for freedom, equality and human rights Nelson Mandela. His commitment to the ideals of justice and humanity, the unique wisdom of a statesman will always be an example to politicians around the world,” reads the message.
