Aleksandr Lukashenko sends condolences over passing of Liliya Tolmacheva
President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of People’s Artist of the RSFSR Liliya Tolmacheva.
According to the head of state, Liliya Tolmacheva witnessed the beginning of the legendary theater Sovremennik. For the whole life she was loyal to the theater. “People in Belarus appreciated Liliya Tolmacheva as one of the greatest masters of theater and cinema of the time, whose creative work full of genuine spirituality made our nations even closer to each other. Her demise has become an irretrievable loss for modern art,” the message of condolences reads.
