Aleksandr Lukashenko sends birthday greetings to Zhores Alferov

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent a letter of birthday greetings to Vice President of the Russian Academy of Sciences Zhores Alferov.

"You have done a lot for science and deserved great authority and recognition both in Russia and abroad. We are proud that Belarus gave the world such an eminent person. We highly appreciate your fruitful activities aimed at strengthening inseparable ties with our country and people," the congratulatory message runs.

"I am convinced that in the future you will do your utmost to promote scientific and technical interaction and all-round cooperation between the two countries," Aleksandr Lukashenko noted.
