Aleksandr Lukashenko sends birthday greetings to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon
President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent a letter of birthday greetings to United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.
“Your selfless work on the post of the United Nations Secretary-General is a great example of service to the ideals of peace and justice,” the felicitation message reads.
“As the president of the country which was one of the founders of the United Nations Organization in 1945, I strongly hope that your activities on the highest international post will help promote the principles of impartiality and equality in international relations, the atmosphere of cooperation based on openness and mutual respect for the benefit of peace, security and wellbeing of all peoples,” Aleksandr Lukashenko remarked.
