President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent birthday greetings to People’s Painter of Belarus Gavriil Vashchenko.
“Your creative work is a true art chronicle of Belarus. With great patriotism and mastery you illustrated events of historical past and present of the Homeland, created simple, noble and beautiful images of our compatriots in your canvases. Your paintings are included in the collections of the largest Belarusian and foreign museums; frescos and stained-glass windows embellish public buildings in many Belarusian towns,” the felicitation message reads.
Aleksandr Lukashenko also hailed a big contribution of
Gavriil Vashchenko in educating young painters.
