Aleksandr Lukashenko sends birthday greetings to Eldar Ryazanov

President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent a letter of birthday greetings to People’s Artist of the USSR Eldar Ryazanov.

“You are by right called one of the brightest and wisest masters of cinema, whose creative work brings the energy of kindness. Every comedy that you have directed reveals philosophic and moral depth in simple stories, making people both laugh and think about pressing social problems and the place of people in life. These films are included in the golden collection of modern cinematography and enjoy huge success with people of various generations,” the felicitation message runs.

The head of state noted that people in Belarus appreciate Eldar Ryazanov as an outstanding director, whose films promote the ideals of humanism and spirituality in the modern world. “I am confident that your creative work will further contribute to the development of cultural ties between our countries,” the President stressed.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Eldar Ryazanov health, creative success, happiness and well-being.
