Aleksandr Lukashenko sends birthday greetings to Dmitry Yazov
President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent a letter of birthday greetings to Marshal of the Soviet Union Dmitry Yazov.
“You have devoted your life to the difficult and noble vocation to protect the Homeland. Your life is an example of selfless service the Fatherland and fidelity to the chosen path,” the message of greetings reads.
Aleksandr Lukashenko remarked that people in Belarus appreciate Dmitry Yazov not only as a Marshal of the Soviet Union, but also as a person who took part in the liberation of Belarus from Nazi invaders, restoration of peace on the Belarusian soil.
The President wished health, happiness and wellbeing to Dmitry Yazov.
