Aleksandr Lukashenko meets with Minsk Oblast Executive Committee Chairman Boris Batura
President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has approved the concept designed to guide the development of investment activities in Minsk Oblast. The relevant matters were discussed at the routine meeting of the Head of State with Chairman of the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee Boris Batura on 8 August.
The President was informed about the development of investment activities in Minsk Oblast and several proposals regarding the implementation of individual projects were put forward. While approving the concept as a whole, Aleksandr Lukashenko pointed out that land plots should be granted only for the sake of setting up highly effective manufacturing facilities particularly in view of Decree No. 10 “On enabling additional conditions for investment activities in the Republic of Belarus”.
A total of 350 investment projects in Minsk Oblast’s production sector are being implemented.
The harvesting campaign was another point raised at the meeting. The Minsk Oblast Governor told the President that farmers in the oblast are busy harvesting crops as long as the weather favors it. The head of state pointed out the need to strictly observe harvesting technologies and ensure solid quality.
