Aleksandr Lukashenko meets with Chairman of the National Assembly of Cambodia Heng Samrin

Belarus is ready to expand cooperation with Cambodia in all fields, President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he met with Chairman of the National Assembly of Cambodia Heng Samrin on 21 June.

“We are ready to cooperate with you in all fields, ready to boost our cooperation as much as your country needs,” the President of Belarus said.

According to Aleksandr Lukashenko, the ongoing visit of the Cambodian parliamentary delegation to Belarus is the start of a new era of the bilateral cooperation.

The Belarusian head of state emphasized that the two countries see eye to eye with each other across all the points of the international agenda. “We have no disagreements, unsettled issues, disputes regarding the international political agenda,” the President said. He expressed his appreciation to Cambodia for support to the Belarusian parliament in getting the observer status in the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly.
