Aleksandr Lukashenko goes to Turkmenistan on working visit

    President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has gone on a working visit to Turkmenistan where he will participate in the session of the CIS Heads of State Council on 5 December.

    The agenda of the session includes current affairs concerning the operation and future development of the organization. The heads of state will also discuss the CIS performance in the current period, efforts of the CIS Inter-parliamentary Assembly to forge integration cooperation as well as several humanitarian and cultural issues. Besides, participants of the session will discuss the joint celebration of the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.

    There are plans to sign several documents after the talks in Ashgabad. The document concern cooperation in organizing an integrated currency market, the enhancement of financial security cooperation, antiterrorism activities.
