Aleksandr Lukashenko expresses condolences to Turkey President over terrorist attack victims
Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has expressed
condolences to Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, families and friends of
the victims of the terrorist attack in Istanbul.
The head of state noted that it is with huge pain that people in Belarus have learned the news about the deathly terrorist attack in Istanbul on New Year’s Eve. “We are shocked by the cynicism and cruelty of this heinous crime,” the message of condolences reads.
“Killing people and intimidation of the society cannot be the instruments for achieving any goals. The events in Istanbul prove that there is no place for radical groupings and their ideology in the civilized society. Such crimes require resolute responses and solidarity,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.
He assured that Belarus was and will be fighting on terrorism together with Turkey.
