Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulates Vladimir Putin on Russia's Day

On behalf of the Belarusian people and on his own behalf, President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and his people on Russia's Day.

According to the Belarusian head of state, this holiday symbolizes unity and common responsibility of the Russians for the present and the future of their Fatherland.

"Belarusian and Russian people are connected by centuries-old brotherly friendship and good-neighborliness which have become a solid foundation for the development of multi-vector strategic partnership," the message of congratulations reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed confidence that trust-based political dialogue, effective trade and economic interaction, good humanitarian ties will further contribute to strengthening allied relations, successful realization of the interstate integration potential for the benefit of the two nations.
