Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulates Eveline Widmer-Schlumpf

President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Eveline Widmer-Schlumpf on the election as Federal President of the Swiss Confederation.

"I hope that your work will help promote Belarusian-Swiss relations for the benefit of the two nations, develop constructive multifaceted dialogue on the basis of mutual understanding and trust between our states," the message runs.
