Aleksandr Lukashenko approves resolution of talented youth support fund
Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko approved the decision of the Council of the Belarus President’s Fund for Talented Youth.
The fund will allocate Br305.18 million to support gifted young people. Apart from that the fund will allocate Br756.5 million more for the acquisition of musical instruments for educational facilities.
Besides, Belarus’ participant of the 2013 Junior Eurovision Ilya Volkov has been honored a Br91 million worth of Grand Prize and the title of the prize holder of Belarus President’s Fund for Talented Youth for claiming bronze of the competition. The participants of his music show were given Br5.85 million worth of prizes each.
The presidential executive order aims to provide targeted state support to talented school and university students.
