Aleksandr Lukashenko to hold negotiations with Mirziyoyev during his official visit to Belarus

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko will hold negotiations with Uzbekistan President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who will be in Belarus on an official visit on 8-9 July.

Within the framework of top-level negotiations Aleksandr Lukashenko and Shavkat Mirziyoyev will discuss topical matters of bilateral cooperation and prospects of stepping it up in various fields. The advancement of industrial cooperation and the implementation of joint projects will be the central items on the negotiation agenda.

About twenty documents are being prepared for signing in the wake of the negotiations. The most important one is a declaration on establishing strategic partnership between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
