On conferment of state awards

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed a decree to confer state awards and presidential commendations upon 39 representatives of various industries as well as the public joint-stock companies Planar and Integral, the managing company of the holding company Integral.

Orders, medals, and honorific titles have been bestowed in recognition of many years of fruitful work, professionalism, high performance indicators, and significant results in their professional duties, contribution to public safety, emergency prevention and response, development of the military-industrial complex and the agribusiness complex, oil industry, microelectronics, and transport sector, outstanding achievements in geology, science, healthcare, education, culture, and sports.

The Order of Labor Glory was awarded to the public joint-stock companies Planar and Integral, the managing company of the holding company Integral.

Gennady Eismont, Deputy Chairman for Production at the agricultural enterprise SPK named after Denschikov in Grodno District, received the Order of Honor.

The Medal for Excellence in the Maintenance of Public Order was awarded to Yevgeny Borodin, Chief of the Department for Combatting Illegal Drug Trafficking of the Operational Customs, to Yevgeny Golenkov, Senior Detective for High-Priority Cases of the Department for Combatting Smuggling of the State Customs Committee, and Tatiana Tsvyrkovskaya, Deputy Chief of this department.

Four officers of emergency response services and units received the Medal for Excellence in the Prevention and Mitigation of Emergencies. They are Vladimir Burchik, Senior Aide to the Chief of the Operational Control Center of the Grodno City Emergencies Department, Dmitry Kovalevsky, Chief of the Communications and Notifications Department of the ZUBR [Bison] Special Response Unit, Aleksandr Kisel, Chief of the Operational Control Center of the Minsk Oblast Emergencies Department, and Yevgeny Yuntsevich, Senior Instructor-Firefighter of Fire and Rescue Unit No.18 of the Frunzensky District Emergencies Department of Minsk.

A large group of employees from various enterprises and organizations was awarded the Medal for Labor Merits. Among them are Eduard Busel, Head of Oil and Gas Extraction Shop No.2 of the Rechitsaneft enterprise, Nadezhda Zenkova, Associate Professor at the Feed Production Department of the Vitebsk Order of the Badge of Honor State Academy of Veterinary Medicine, and Ivan Shabolik, tractor driver-machine operator at OAO Khonevichi in Svisloch District.

The Medal of Francysk Skaryna was awarded to Maria Babina, professor at the Veterinary-Sanitary Inspection Department of the Vitebsk Order of the Badge of Honor State Academy of Veterinary Medicine, and Larisa Dovyat, Head of the Mir Rural Community Center, director of the Kapelka Honored Amateur Performing Group model variety theater of Belarus.

The honorific title Honored Scientist was conferred on Sergei Krasny, Deputy Director for Science at the N.N. Alexandrov National Cancer Center of Belarus.

Natalya Petrova, leading researcher at the Geology and Minerageny of Platform Mantle Department of the Institute of Geology branch in RUP Research and Production Center for Geology, was awarded the honorific title Honored Geologist.

Aleksei Volchan, boxing coach at the Grodno Oblast Complex Center of Olympic Reserve, was awarded the honorific title Honored Coach.

The honorific title Honored Industrial Worker was conferred on Sergei Litvyakov, Deputy Director General for Ground Equipment and Foreign Economic Relations at OAO Peleng, and Lyudmila Marchuk, Chief Technologist and Head of the Alcoholic Products Manufacturing Technology Department at OAO Brest Distillery Belalco.
