On conferment of state awards
Agrarians and worker collectives from Brest Oblast agricultural enterprises have been awarded state awards and the Belarus president’s commendations in recognition of many years of fruitful work, significant personal contributions to the development of the agribusiness sector, and the achievement of high performance indicators. The relevant decree and executive order have been signed by Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko.
The Order of Labor Glory was awarded to OAO Svyataya Volya from Ivatsevichi District, and the Order of Honor was awarded to the tractor driver Anatoly Tomchuk from OAO Ostromechevo in Brest District.
The Medal for Labor Merits has been bestowed upon Gennady Grushevsky, a driver at OAO Pochapovo in Pinsk District, Yevgeny Shimchuk, Director of OAO Vinets in Beryoza District, the tractor drivers and machine operators Aleksandr Misiyuk and Mikhail Patsukevich from OAO Rogoznyansky in Zhabinka District and from SPK Fedorsky in Stolin District.
The honorary title of Honored Worker of Agriculture was conferred on Vasily Sevostyanchik, Director of OAO Velikoselskoye Agro in Pruzhany District.
The Belarus president’s commendation was bestowed upon the worker collective of SUP Savushkin-Luch, with personal commendations bestowed upon a number of employees. Among them are the tractor drivers and machine operators Valery Demidchik and Vasily Korchomny from the agricultural enterprises Voznesensky in Zhabinka District and Svyataya Volya in Ivatsevichi District, and Igor Romanyuk, a driver at the Minkovichi branch of OAO Belovezhsky in Kamenets District.
Apart from that, the Belarus president’s commendations were awarded to workers who assisted farmers during the harvesting campaign and demonstrated high performance. These include Vyacheslav Biruk, a senior instructor and driver at Fire and Rescue Station No.1 of the Pruzhany District Emergencies Department, who worked as a tractor driver and machine operator at the agricultural enterprise Zhuravlinoe, and Vladimir Dudar, a security guard at the city of Brest’s Leninsky District branch of the Security Services Department of the Internal Affairs Ministry, who worked as a tractor driver at OAO Ostromechevo.
