On President’s Scholarships for Talented Young Scientists in 2013

The monthly presidential scholarship has been awarded to 94 talented young scientists in Belarus. Belarusian head of state Aleksandr Lukashenko signed the relevant executive order “On President’s Scholarships for Talented Young Scientists in 2013” on 17 December.
The Br2.5 million monthly presidential scholarships have been awarded to 94 talented young scientists including four Doctors of Science under 45, 64 Candidates of Science under 35, 26 young scientists under 30.
Among the scholars are 42 scientists working in the physico-mathematical, technical and chemical fields, 36 scientists representing biological, medical and agrarian sciences and 16 – humanitarian sciences.
The group of scholars comprises promising researchers. Many representatives of technical, agrarian and natural sciences have patents for invention and useful models.
