Second National TV Channel (ONT)

The Second National TV Channel (ONT) was set up in accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus of 15 February 2002.

ONT went on air on 25 June 2002 and soon became one of the leaders of the television space of Belarus. In the last few years, it has evolved from a regular TV channel into a media platform with its own radio station and a strong presence in the internet and social media.

From the first day of broadcasting ONT has informed the public about important events in Belarus and abroad. The ONT news content features newscasts, information and analysis, social and political talk shows.

ONT opened a European bureau in Brussels in 2018 to be at the epicenter of the most important developments in Europe. The TV channel is actively expanding its internet-delivered TV services. It was the first state-owned media outlet in Belarus to get the YouTube Silver Play Button. The Tsentr FM radio channel is also part of ONT.
