The Republic of Belarus implements a multifaceted foreign economic policy and maintains trade relations with more than 196 countries worldwide. Export is one of the priorities of the Belarusian economy. About 52% of manufactured goods are exported to foreign markets, which is common for countries with highly developed and open economies.
The mechanical engineering industry plays a significant role in exports. Every year, almost 60% of manufactured goods in this segment are sold outside the country.
Major Belarusian exports are products of the petrochemical and chemical industries, machine-building, metallurgy, wood processing, light industry, dairy and meat products, furniture.
Belarus plays an increasing role on the international services market. In 2025, Belarus' foreign trade in goods and services made up $105.2 billion. The export of goods made up $40 billion, the export of services - $11.7 billion.
