Christmas service

On 7 January 1997 Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko attended a Christmas service at the Holy Spirit Cathedral of Minsk. Following the Christian tradition, on this sacred holiday, which is the one of the most important holidays for Orthodox believers, the head of state also lit a Christmas candle.
