Solemn meeting of the 50th session of the UN General Assembly

On 22 October 1995 Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko delivered a speech during a solemn meeting of the UN General Assembly dedicated to the 50^th anniversary of the foundation of the United Nations Organization.

While in New York Aleksandr Lukashenko met with foreign leaders, including Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, Portugal President Mario Soares, Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev, and Ukraine President Leonid Kuchma. Aleksandr Lukashenko also met with representatives of the American business circles.
