Solemn events at Mound of Glory

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko took part in solemn events timed to the 60th anniversary of Belarus’ liberation from Nazi invaders at the Mound of Glory on 1 July.
The Belarusian leader laid flowers at the memorial. In his speech at the ceremony the head of state thanked those who helped renovate the Mound of Glory. He thanked architects, artists, builders, public associations and people for their contribution.
