Condolences to family and friends of People’s Artist of Belarus Valentina Gayevaya

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has expressed sincere condolences to the family and friends of People’s Artist of Belarus Valentina Gayevaya.

“An extraordinarily talented person, who was a symbol of an entire era in domestic culture, has passed away,” the head of state noted. “Valentina Ivanovna [Gayevaya] dedicated her life to the stage and the Khoroshki ensemble. Her skills were admired by fans not only in Belarus, but all over the world. Her contribution to the education of young artists and the preservation of the best traditions of national choreography deserves special respect.”

“The bright memory of Valentina Ivanovna [Gayevaya] will forever remain in our hearts,” the message of condolence reads.
