Condolences over passing of King Harald V
Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has expressed condolences to the people of Norway on behalf of the Belarusian people and on his own behalf over the death of King Harald V.
The President noted that the long-standing work of Harald V contributed to the continuity of state and cultural traditions of the country and to the strengthening of its international prestige.
“The establishment of diplomatic relations between sovereign Belarus and Norway also took place during the reign of His Majesty, which firmly inscribed his name in the chronicle of our bilateral interaction,” Aleksandr Lukashenko pointed out.
During this sorrowful time the Belarus President conveyed words of support to all Norwegian people: “I am confident that the cherished memory of His Highness Harald V will forever remain in the history of Norway.”
