Civil Aviation Workers’ Day greetings

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated civil aviation workers and veterans on their professional holiday, Civil Aviation Workers’ Day.

“The sky is an element that submits only to strong, courageous and responsible people. Belarusian civil aviation can rightly be proud of its history, its rich traditions and, above all, its team, for whom constantly moving upward has become the meaning of life,” the message reads.

The head of state noted that pilots and flight attendants, air traffic controllers and engineers, technicians and ground service staff, and transportation specialists tackle the most complex tasks every day, ensuring the uninterrupted operation of air transport and the safety of thousands of passengers, helping them cover vast distances quickly and comfortably.

The President addressed special words of gratitude to veteran workers, whose enormous personal experience is a true compass for young specialists. “It is you who laid down the professional values on which today’s aviation system is built,” he stated.

“I am confident that your team will continue to achieve the most ambitious goals in expanding and modernizing the fleet, developing the cargo sector, launching new flights, raising service quality standards and digitalizing the industry,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed.

The head of state wished everyone good health, clear peaceful skies, the conquest of unprecedented heights and smooth landings.
