Greetings to Zimbabwe President Emmerson Mnangagwa

Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Zimbabwe President Emmerson Mnangagwa on Independence Day.

“This holiday symbolizes the courage, resilience, and unwavering will of the Zimbabwean people, who, in their struggle for freedom and the right to determine their own destiny on their own, have opened a new chapter in the history of their state,” the congratulatory message reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko noted that Belarus is well aware of Emmerson Mnangagwa’s personal contribution to the establishment and progress of modern Zimbabwe, his persistent defense of national interests, ensuring the country’s sustainable development, and improving the well-being of its citizens.

“I am pleased to note that relations between Minsk and Harare have recently become truly dynamic,” the head of state emphasized. “The signing of the roadmap for strategic cooperation and partnership for 2026-2030, the successful implementation of joint projects in agriculture mechanization, the expansion of bilateral contacts in healthcare, education, industry, and other areas are compelling evidence of our countries’ interest in further deepening interaction.”

The President is convinced that Belarusian-Zimbabwean ties, based on trust, respect, and practical applications, will continue getting stronger for the benefit of the friendly peoples of the two countries.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished excellent health and success in state affairs to Emmerson Mnangagwa and peace and a happy life to all the residents of Zimbabwe.
