Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulates newly elected Iraqi President Nizar Amidi

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended congratulations to Nizar Amidi on his election as President of the Republic of Iraq.

“I am confident that your work in this high office will contribute to the steady progress of Iraq and the further strengthening of stability and national unity,” the head of state said. “I reaffirm our interest in deepening Belarusian-Iraqi dialogue on the basis of mutual respect and equality, as well as in developing constructive cooperation in various areas.”

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished the President of Iraq excellent health and success in his responsible state service, and also peace and wellbeing to the people of the country.
