Aleksandr Lukashenko sends Independence Day greetings to Poland

    On behalf of peace-loving and multinational people of Belarus and himself Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended Independence Day greetings to the people of Poland.

    “Since ancient times our nations have been connected by strong ties based on spiritual and cultural values, good-neighborly humanitarian and economic contacts. Throughout the centuries, Belarusian-Polish interaction has gained significance through the invaluable capillaries of various human relations,” the message of greetings reads.

    The Belarusian President expressed confidence that in the current circumstances, despite the political situation, tough challenges and threats, through an open and rational dialogue, an unbiased view of the past and the present, the peoples of the two countries would be able to realize together pragmatic unifying ideas.

    “I am convinced that the principles of non-interference in domestic affairs, significant investment projects, joint work in the international arena for the benefit of stability and security will help strengthen the independence and sovereignty of our countries, will be a solid foundation for maintaining peace and constructive cooperation,” said Aleksandr Lukashenko.

    The Belarusian leader wished the people of Poland solidarity, wellbeing and confidence in the future.
