Greetings to people of Spain
Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to the people of Spain as the country celebrates National Day.
The head of state recalled a saying by Miguel de Cervantes, who is well known in Belarus: “History is the witness of what is past, the example and instruction of the present, the monitor of the future.”
“I am confident that the positive experience of interaction between our countries over more than thirty years of diplomatic relations, the respect our peoples have for each other and the similarity of our traditional values will help us overcome the artificially created negative political environment and will serve as a basis for supporting and expanding the many friendly, family and business contacts between Belarusians and Spaniards,” the message of greetings reads.
Aleksandr Lukashenko wished all Spaniards happiness, peace and wellbeing.
