Greetings to Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva on his re-election as President of Brazil

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva on his re-election as President of the Federative Republic of Brazil.

“The Brazilian people have demonstrated their trust in your consistent course toward building a strong and independent socially oriented state that chooses its own path of development,” the congratulatory message reads. “I am confident that, under your leadership, Brazil will continue to move confidently along the path of strengthening its sovereignty and its standing in the international arena.”

“You can continue to count on Belarus as a reliable and responsible partner committed to expanding strong bilateral relations on the principles of mutual respect and friendship for the prosperity of our nations and the establishment of a just world order,” the Belarusian President noted.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva robust health and professional longevity, and all citizens of Brazil peace, unity and prosperity.
