Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulates Hakainde Hichilema on re-election as President of Zambia

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko congratulated Hakainde Hichilema on his re-election as President of Zambia.

“The voting results demonstrated the trust of the Zambian people in your political, social and economic course aimed at strengthening stability and ensuring the prosperity of the state,” the congratulatory message reads.

Belarus attaches great importance to developing friendly relations with Zambia, Aleksandr Lukashenko stressed. “Our country has experience in ensuring food security and the resilience of the national economy, which it is ready to share. I am confident that during your second term, through joint efforts, we will be able to step up cooperation in trade, the economy, humanitarian affairs and other areas for the benefit of both nations,” the Belarusian leader noted.

The head of state wished Hakainde Hichilema good health and further success in his responsible work for the benefit of the people of Zambia.
