Aleksandr Lukashenko signs Decree on development of farm tourism
Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko signed Decree No. 275 “On the development of farm tourism” on 18 August.
The document approves regulations governing the provision of farm tourism services. As part of state support for the sector, the regulations extend preferential lending for farm tourism businesses by Belagroprombank for an unlimited period.
The regulations remove lending limits for farm tourism businesses and extend the maximum loan term: from five to eight years for agricultural organizations and from seven to ten years for individuals.
The approach to supporting farm tourism in the regions located far from large centers is also changing. Operators will be allowed to pay a special fee (the rate has been Br45 since 1 January 2026) instead of a tax.
In addition, the document revises the conditions for providing farm tourism services. The number of guest rooms allowed in farm estates will increase to 15, while the range of services that can be provided will also be expanded.
