Official visit to Ukraine

On 12-13 May Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko was in Ukraine on an official visit. The Mariyinsky Palace hosted one-on-one talks between the presidents of the two countries and then a meeting featuring members of the two delegations. During the talks, the parties signed a package of bilateral documents, the main of which was the Agreement on the State Border.

Aleksandr Lukashenko visited the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and met with representatives of the Belarusian diaspora. The head of state also laid wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Park of Eternal Glory.
