Official visit to the EU headquarters and working visit to Belgium
On 5-7 March 1995 Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko paid an official visit to the European Union headquarters and a working visit to the Kingdom of Belgium. The head of state held a number of meetings and talks, including with senior officials of the European Union, King Albert II of Belgium, Belgian Prime Minister Jean-Luc Dehaene. A Partnership and Cooperation Agreement was signed between Belarus and the EU in Brussels. Prior to the signing ceremony Aleksandr Lukashenko delivered a speech at the ministerial council session that was attended by a great number of journalists. He also had a conversation with the European Parliament members.
